 APPSTV WARRANTY POLICY

  1. General Warranty Terms and Conditions

APPSTV (hereinafter referred to as “APPSTV”, “Us”, “We”, “Our”) warrants our products (“Product”) to be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal use for the period set forth in this Limited Product Warranty (“Warranty”). This Warranty is valid only in Singapore for Products delivered in their original packaging to the original end-user purchaser (“Purchaser”), subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions stated herein.

Should your Product require repair, APPSTV may, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or exchange the Product with equivalent parts of similar technical specifications that may be new or refurbished. Repaired or replaced Products will remain under Warranty for the remaining original Warranty period from the initial delivery date. All replaced parts become the property of APPSTV.

No other warranties or guarantees, whether provided verbally or in writing by any third party, are binding on APPSTV unless explicitly stated in this Warranty. The Warranty period begins on the original delivery date, or if proof of purchase is unavailable, it will be deemed to have started three months from the product’s manufacturing date.

Servicing under this Warranty is only available in mainland Singapore and territories accessible by road. The Warranty does not cover Products outside of Singapore.

APPSTV's Warranty does not include coverage for missing accessories or external parts unless the claim is made within two (2) days from the delivery date. Any visible defects must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, failing which no faults will be deemed present at the time of delivery. Minor imperfections that do not impact the Product’s functionality are not considered defects under this Warranty.

The Purchaser is responsible for any transportation costs when making walk-in warranty claims. APPSTV is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits, opportunities, or data. The Purchaser is responsible for safeguarding the Product.

APPSTV reserves the right to impose service or transportation charges for Products outside the Warranty cover. The Warranty will be voided if the Product has been altered or repaired by unauthorized personnel. APPSTV may modify this Warranty’s terms and conditions as necessary.

  1. Limitations and Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Expired Warranty periods or Out-of-Warranty Products.
  • Accessories like remote controls, cables, or soundbar mounting kits.
  • Damage due to misuse, improper installation (unless done by APPSTV), or liquid damage.
  • Damage due to natural aging, wear and tear, or external conditions like dust, power surges, or natural disasters.
  • Software issues or user-induced damages like screen burn-in.
  • Products installed in unsafe or inaccessible locations.

  1. TV and Wall Mount Warranty Terms and Conditions

APPSTV warrants that all wall mounts sold and installed by APPSTV or its authorized installers are free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from the date of delivery. Any modifications, improper installations, or unauthorized repositioning of the mount will void the Warranty. The Warranty applies only to indoor installations. Any outdoor use voids the Warranty.

APPSTV is not liable for damages resulting from improper installation or use of third-party brackets. Installation Warranty does not cover labor for dismounting and remounting Products installed higher than 180 cm from the floor.

  1. Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions

Extended Warranty is available for eligible Products with a warranty extension package purchased at the time of sale. The Extended Warranty provides an additional two years of coverage, starting after the initial three-year Warranty period.

Extended Warranty details can be found in the specific terms and conditions provided at the time of purchase.

This Warranty is subject to change by APPSTV without prior notice. Please contact APPSTV customer service for any inquiries or further information regarding Warranty coverage.


Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions

  1. The Contract:

This Extended Warranty Service Contract (the “Contract”) is offered by APPSTV PTE LTD (“APPSTV”). The words “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to APPSTV, and “you” and “your” refer to the purchaser of this Contract. Your rights and obligations under this Contract become operative from the date of expiry of the manufacturer’s original warranty for the product you have purchased (the “Product”). The coverage may continue for up to four (4) years, including the duration of the manufacturer’s original warranty, based on your selection of the extended warranty duration stated on the purchase receipt.

  1. The Coverage:

Coverage is limited to mechanical and electrical defects and applies to repairs and replacements done within Singapore while the Product is being used in Singapore.

We have the sole discretion to repair or replace your Product with similar kind, quality, and specifications. If it is more economical to replace your Product instead of repairing it, the original Product will be replaced (subject to the limits set out in the relevant warranty plan) with a similar product. Due to advancements in technology, the replacement product may have a lower retail value than the original Product. If the original Product is replaced, this Contract will cease from the replacement date.

Any repair or service performed by an unauthorized repairer will render this Contract null and void. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation, or maintenance instructions will also nullify this Contract.

  1. Liability:

Coverage will not, under any circumstances, extend to any loss or injury to a person, or loss or damage to property, or any incidental, contingent, special, or any direct or indirect loss and consequential damages, including losses incurred due to delays in rendering service related to this Contract and loss of use during the period that your Product is at an authorized repairer and/or while awaiting replacement parts.

  1. Exclusions from Coverage:

The following are not covered under this warranty:

  • Any defect known at the time of purchasing the Contract.
  • Products still covered by the manufacturer’s original warranty or any other warranty.
  • Normal wear and tear, corrosion, rust, or stains.
  • Accessories and external parts (e.g., frames, remote controls, batteries, cables).
  • Cosmetic damage (e.g., cracks, dents, scratches).
  • Damage from corrosive environments or manufacturer recalls.
  • Defects and service charges not covered under the manufacturer's original warranty.
  • Call-out charges if no fault is found.
  • Claims due to failure to follow manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.
  • Non-operating items, external cables, glass, or lens damage.
  • Unauthorized modifications, altered serial numbers, or non-authorized repairs.
  • Repairs to added hardware after the original purchase.
  • Consumables (e.g., batteries, bulbs).
  • Screen burn or image retention.
  • External faults such as rust or wiring issues.
  • Damage from improper maintenance or intentional damage.
  • Burglary, theft, or damage from misuse.
  • Failures caused by incorrect voltage or external forces.
  • Shipping charges, express service fees, or installation costs.
  • Commercial use, public rental, or communal use.
  • Damage from acts of God (e.g., floods, fires, wars).
  • Repairs necessitated by overdriving or clipping distortion.
  • Costs for modifications to furniture due to product replacement.
  • Damage from pressure waves from supersonic devices.
  • Damage due improper handling
  • Damage due to power surges.

  1. Contract Termination:

This Contract will automatically terminate upon the expiry of its term, or upon full return and refund of the purchase, whichever occurs first.

  1. General:

This Contract is a service contract and is not an insurance policy. It does not guarantee the material, workmanship, or performance of the Product.

For verification purposes, you may be required by our customer service representative to present your Contract to expedite service. We recommend keeping these documents in a safe place.
